The top developer program launched a few years ago is a way to attract developers who have made great apps. We all started to see some of the developers' names next to the blue blue arrow badge, but it became easy to become accustomed and eventually relegated.
It is time to come and it seems to say goodbye to the procedure. Google discussed the top developer badge and the system log to the sponsor, sent an e-mail, but also had a new hope. Play Store's application recognition approach will focus more on personal applications and games, notably the entire developer account.

"The Google Play Top Developers Program is designed to recognize partners who develop high-quality Android apps and games
Every day, developers like you are hard to create apps and games on Android. Whether you are updating an existing application or building a new application, we have seen that in many interesting, fun and useful applications, the level of polishing and quality has improved dramatically. We want to make sure that more people find the great experience you create.
The Google Play Top Developers Program, launched many years ago, aims to recognize developers who create high-quality Android apps and games. We have studied with developers and consumers and have observed recognition of individual applications and games, rather than the definite values and preferences of the entire organization.
After browsing our existing application recognition process, the Google Play editorial team decided to focus on recognizing high quality and innovative applications and games. As a first step, we will close the Top Developer program within 30 days and remove the badge from the Play Store. We have exciting plans to recognize more great apps and games that you create and will share updates as soon as possible.
Thank you for your continued commitment to Android and Google Play. "
