Former Miss New Jersey Kara McCollum mold for injuries suffered in a car crash


Former Miss New Jersey Carla McCollum, a South Jersey news anchor who founded his own charity, died Monday morning injured in a car accident last week.
She was 24.
After to prayer Kara Facebook page Earlier Monday, the Arkansas native's family thank people for "love and support of our karaoke huge outpouring."

"Carla passed away this morning," read the post. "Her family and her in the operating room, she died peacefully at 4:31, before her death, Kara selfless decision to donate his organs. At this very moment, to save her life.
"We have constantly prayed a miracle, we believe that God has answered our prayers. Although this is not the first time we envisaged miracle, it's a miracle nonetheless.


"Ultimately, it's not the years in your life, it is in your life. Please accept our sincere thanks for your heartfelt prayers. We will miss her now that she's gone."
McCollum's boyfriend Keith Jones nearly two years, is NBC10 anchor. He released Monday morning in Facebook thank you for the "love and support of my sweet, beautiful everything, this enormous outpouring of Kara."


"Sadly, Carla passed away this morning," Keith wrote. "We are with her in the operating room, she died peacefully at 04 am 31. Before her death, Kara selfless decision to donate his organs. At this very moment, to save her life."
McCollum, after studying at Princeton University, who is today SNJ anchor in Pittsgrove town traveling north at Highway 55, Salem County before 7:00 in the February 15, when police said her car desorbed road, hit a tree head-on near milemarker 38.4.

"She was just a very ordinary little girl," Johnston told reporters.

McCollum today joined based Millville -SNJ newscast anchored the first time ever in July. She earned her bachelor's degree in English and journalism at Princeton University, a certificate in 2015, and is the 2010 high school in Forrest City Forrest City, Arkansas valedictorian.
