We all heard the news; after 146 years, the end came to Earth's greatest exhibition
This is an individual opinion of what the author has happened and why. Through these words, I want to express the feelings of many others; people are shocked, mad, disappointed and sad. The loss of this program is a time for mourning Americans and circus lovers around the world. It is not just the end of an era; it is the traditional loss of the audience and the performers themselves.
January 14, 2017, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus - Feld Entertainment's producer announced that the blue force and the red force of this long-standing traditional show is coming to an end.

Performing performers and staff were told that the decision was made only a few minutes before the announcement (after the show on Saturday night of January 14). My circus friend told me that it was a shock to everyone. They are still shocked.
the reason"
Feld Entertainment posted a statement on his website; I am part of the reprint here:
"Ringling Bros.'s ticket sales have been declining, but with the elephant's transition we see a more dramatic decline. This, coupled with high operating costs, makes the company's circus and unsustainable business.
I believe that ticket sales have fallen, but the reason is not just because the elephant has retired; there are many more than it.
Yes ... feeding, taking care of and transporting elephants is an expensive effort, but their absent programs are not an excuse; most people understand that retiring these majestic animals is considered a sign of the times. The real problem - ownership of certainty and obvious management of marketing, production - led to the fall of the Ringling brothers and Barnum and Berry Circus. You can not solve these problems by selling a bag of cotton candy for $ 15.
Did you spend a lot of money to make such a program? Yes, of course. But I have some questions that will never be answered, what exactly happened to Feld Entertainment, and how this harmful decision is made. For icons such as Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, 146 years after the sudden confrontation, there is no obvious attempt to "solve" any question really what makes me and the others, strangely what is the truth. Trying to save the US agency may include a public offering of sales programs; or a combination of two units; or create a more traditional circus with less high-tech skills; or just cut spending as a whole. If that was done, we, the public, did not see. Performers and crew did not see. Blindsided us; each of us.
In the end, it does not matter. But it should.
What do people really need?
It is true that the competition for entertainment dollars has changed over the past few decades. But people want to exchange those hard earned dollars but did not change; we all want to fares good value. And as today's fares soared, it was a well-deserved expectation.
Feld Entertainment's face tells us that ubiquitous people want gadgets and gadgets in today's advanced technology world, so companies must keep "modern". The show is really awesome but very different. Comments show that some people like to change, but others do not, of course, you can not all things to all people. However, for the circus ownership, it is a mistake to assume that everyone wants to "modern" and show high-tech (and can say that over-production) of this scale. However, this is the decision of Feld Entertainment, the choice of focus on their money and energy programs, more reflect this opinion. Be fair enough ... it's your money. But why did not you find a way to save the circuit? To find a way to make hundreds of employees not only lose their jobs, but lose their livelihoods? Find a way to restore this 146-year-old name and the tradition of the circus? People ask these questions, so I am.
I tried not to attack anyone. Businesses must make money if the business model fails and you have to change. Felders decided that everyone everywhere would need high-tech magic, flash, smoke and mirrors. Ironically, they did not come to this conclusion before the end of the "dragon and legend" trip or before "the world".
