Lahore Qalandars, the most expensive team in the Pakistan Super League, can only win two in the last eight league matches. Although they have finished the final, let's not forget that they pack fair play trophies.

Last year's PSL, Lahore Qalandars management made some big and bold decisions. It is noteworthy that it took Mudassar Nazar as a consultant. Nazar conducted 76 tests and 122 ODIs in Pakistan as coach of the national team and was associated with the ICC Global Cricket Academy.

Qalandars also appointed Aaqib Javed as a director. The 44-year-old Jervend played 22 tests and 163 ODIs for Pakistan and was part of the 1992 World Cup championship, where he replaced New Zealand star Brendon McCullum, Ali as captain. Appointed McLuhm, a former black hat captain, smashed in 71 T20Is for two centuries, to Lahore Qalandars by all.

Team owner Fawad Rana called McCullum a supplement to Qalandars' "big news" and expressed the hope that it would be a first step in the team's journey to success.

Lahore Qalandars' 20-man squad includes seven foreign players, including former Black Hat All-Star James Franklin, West Indies Sunil Narine, England Pioneer Jason Roy who is famous for their T20 format game expertise .

Pakistani Infantry Sohail Tanker, who represents King Karachi in last year's edition, will see Lahore Qalandars in action in the colors this time around. 32-year-old, who won the IPL 2008 Best Hat Award, is the fourth Pakistani hat-pack with 50 wickets in the T20I.

Due to the ban on the use of stimulants, Yasir Shah, the leg-rotator who represented Lahore Qalandars in last year's PSL, was unavailable this time.

Umar Akmal won the best batter in last year's game, defeating 335 times in eight games for four and a half years, and this time they are ready to shoot for the opponent.

Lahore Qalandars will play their first game of PSL 2017 with the Quetta Gladiator on February 10th.

Qalandars CEO Rana Atif was full of optimism before the game. "Whatever happens in the last edition is in the past, now," he said. "All your Lahore fans are ready! The team that won the hearts of people last year will also win from the stadium.
