MI Grand Rapids -
A snowstorm that began overnight is to create dangerous situations, Tuesday,
March 1, forcing the closure of schools in various districts.
Forest Hills, Grandville, Allendale, Caledonia, Kenowa
Hills, Byron Center, Lowell, Zeeland West Ottawa, Hudsonville, Rockford, Cedar
Springs, Holland, Jenison, Comstock Park, Grand Haven, Northview and Thornapple
Kellogg district is shut down.
On Feb. 25, a snowstorm Kent and Ottawa intermediate
school districts to close to all school districts.
A winter storm warning in effect for the area until
Wednesday, the National Weather Service. Blowing and drifting snow 5 to 10
inches of snow is expected to be steady throughout the day, with projected.
Six days before the school year, students in Michigan and
cancellations are allowed to make up the missed days.
